Everyone has been bitchn' about the small size of Neumos. It was hot and it was sweaty, but the venue is Awesome. Upstairs, downstairs... outside. The music sounds good in there too. And if you worked at it to get to the bar on the right side of the stage, there wasn't even a line. I watched some of the second show from upstairs and I had an excellent view of the entire stage, especially Daryl and it wasn't crowded at all. I'm just happy I was lucky enough to get in!

Left me in a hole
The good news is the music was great, thanks for posting the show Mark. The bad news is the venue was a hole and I won't waste the time or money in going back there. Too many people packed in, made it very difficult to find a spot to even stand, let alone dance. Nothing is going to get me down, so this is worth a listen and we can always dance at home until the next time they make it to the PNW. Yonder is best seen outdoors anyway, so looking forward to NWSS in August. Cheers.
Better off DEAD

I have to agree with the first post...Way too crowded. There was also a "line nazi" that kept yelling warnings to the crowd not to smoke marijuana in the venue or he would take your stash. (take/smoke I'm sure) Hope none of my favorite bands ever play this non-friendly-tiny-shit-hole again. Seattle is usally a "friendly" town. As far as the music goes, this is great.

This matrix is the slick combination of the other 2 sources, aud + sbd, and sounds fantastic! The presentation is about as fine as it gets here. The show was oversold and too crowded, not much fun for me up in the lounge away from the action. Now I can enjoy this show anytime.
I plan to start purchasing some of YMSB's CDs after hearing this.
